Stacey Ashton, MSEd, BCBA has been in the field of special education and applied behavior analysis for over 10 years.  She has worked with a wide variety of children on the autism spectrum using ABA to address deficits in communication and social language while reducing problem behaviors. Before becoming a independent therapist, Stacey studied with Dr. Johnathan Tarbox (Director of Research and Development, Center for Autism and Related Disorders), Dr. Rachel Tarbox (CARD), Dr. Adel Najdowski (CARD) and Iser DeLeon (Director of Research Development for the Department of Behavioral Psychology, Kennedy Krieger Institute).  More recently, Stacey has studied the works of Tony Attwood, Michelle Garcia Winner, Temple Grandin, Simon Baron-Cohen, and Dr. Jed Baker and is passionate about teaching social interaction skills, perspective taking while reducing stress and anxiety in her clients with autism, PDD-NOS and Aspergers.  Stacey is currently creating a curriculum to help her clients initiate and maintain friendships in their schools and communities.

     When not working with children, Stacey can be found drinking tea, reading psychology books, playing with her pets or socializing with friends.
