Ages 12 -18
Individual social skills training sessions to learn the "nuts and bolts" of social interaction while focusing on social communication, cognition, awareness and motivation.
Social Skills Groups
Ages 12 -18
Learn social skills in a group and then generalize and practice with similar aged peers. Sessions focus on individual treatment goals as well as PEERS Curriculum.
PEERSⓇ Curriculum
PEERSⓇ curriculum, private training sessions and groups available for motivated adolescents interested in making and keeping friends.
PEERSⓇ is an evidence based social skills intervention for adolescents in middle and high school who are interested in making and keeping friends. This internationally acclaimed program is now offered in 35 countries and was originally developed at UCLA by Dr. Elizabeth Laugeson.
Teens will learn how to:
use appropriate humor
conversation skills
electronic communication
be a good host
be a good sport
handle arguements and disagreements
handle rejection, easing and bullying and more.
During session time your child will learn skills they need to make and keep friends.
